For over 11 years, I have been helping older adults and their families understand how a reverse mortgage can provide an alternate solution to help fund an array of financial needs, as well as fit into an overall retirement plan. I focus on how the Reverse Mortgage for Purchase can be used to downsize or right-size, increase purchasing power, reduce monthly expense, and preserve cash assets. My first priority is education and being a trusted while patient advisor for my clients. I understand that deciding whether to do a reverse mortgage or not is an emotional and extremely important decision.
I am passionate about aging issues and am an active member of the Low Country Senior Network, a volunteer driver for Senior Ride Charleston, and serve as Chair of the Education Initiative for the Greater Charleston Chapter of the National Aging in Place Council. My primary role is to schedule and provide educational presentations on preparing for “aging in place” throughout the Charleston area. I am also involved in the business community as a member of the Mt. Pleasant Business Association and am active in my church. I received my bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Kansas University, and attended the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in completing the coursework in the master’s program in Clinical Psychology.
